Room Climate RE, WE and GE

Room Climate

Natural growth and the texture of the wood give woodblock floors a unique appearance. The important factor is to maintain a consistent air humidity in the room. A constant room climate with an air humidity of between 50% and 65% and a temperature of 20 - 22 °C is therefore both beneficial for the well-being of the inhabitants / users, and required for the characteristics of the wood block flooring s (e.g. reduction of joint formation). This can be checked with the aid of simple measuring devices (e.g. hygrometer). In order to maintain a constant room climate, room air-humidifiers with built-in control hygrostats (humidity regulators) are recommended.

In the event of a room climate permanently varying from these values, special attention should be drawn to this fact, and the moisture content of the woodblock agreed or specified accordingly by the construction planner.
