Economy and Wear Resistance
Economy
Woodblock also offers significant economic
benefits. The procurement costs
should be viewed in conjunction with the
almost unlimited service life, the possibilities
of energy-saving, environmental
compatibility and the improvement of
workplace facilities.
This also applies for the subsequent costs.
In addition to the direct costs for maintenance
or renovation, the indirect costs in
the event of operating problems are also
saved.
The floor – without sealant – is set to foot
traffic immediately after laying.
Partial areas of any size can be taken up
and replaced quickly (e.g. when moving
machinery or equipment).
Wear resistance
Severe stresses, such as in industrial
areas, result in only minor wear to woodblock
floors, even over extremely long
periods.
Pressure stress: 50 t / dm². This corresponds
to a weight of 50 t on an area of
100 cm².
